Born in Palermo (Italy) Marta Bonura – Petite Chérie grew up surrounded by the charm of the Golden Age of Cinema, the world of pin-ups, foreign erotic literature and vintage lingerie. The name of art comes from the tiny and sinuous forms of her body; not surprisingly she has also been called “Pocket Venus” of Burlesque. She took acting, dancing and singing classes in her hometown, Rome, Milan and many other cities, becoming over the years a glamorous girl just like those she always admired, especially her idols and source of inspiration Gypsy Rose Lee and Marilyn Monroe. After threading the boards of Vaudeville, she is now an established International Burlesque Performer, Published Pin-up Model and Producer known both in the Italian scene and abroad for her refined elegance, undisputed sophistication and professionalism.

After having conceived the first International Vintage Home- Art Studio in Europe Château Chérie refined in the attention to detail, she founded Charme Luxury Academy , the first authentic Burlesque & Pin Up School in Sicily.
She follows Charme Productions, the first production of Burlesque Vintage Style events in Sicily and, finally, Petite Chérie Lingerie & Chérie Folies Couture Brands that are already beginning to expand throughout Italy and abroad. Petite Chérie is in fact famous for her rich range of sparkling dresses, embellished and adorned with cascades of pearls, Swarovski crystals and other precious materials: this gives to her garments a strong mark of originality that makes them true masterpieces of tailoring. Small and harmonious, Petite Chérie is distinguished by a flawless make-up, porcelain leather and a carefully styled chignon. She has always had a strong interest in make-up, applying for years to develop her own style that has had great appeal on the public. The decisive attitude makes you understand who is Petite Chérie, undisputed queen of the art of Burlesque: a real self-made woman.
With her corsets, fine lingerie, feathers, stockings and stilettos she embodies the myth of Hollywood beauty of the golden age.
She has posed for several internationally renowned photographers and on many occasions her image has been published in national and international magazines (Burlesque-Zine, BombShell, Delicious Dolls, Retro Lovely etc…).

Among her many acts is a classic of the Burlesque, and Glass Show, revisited with her own personal style.
The glamorous inspiration and strong resemblance in mini version immediately lead the viewer back to the dazzling presence of the quintessential Burlesque icon: Dita Von Teese. At the moment, Petite Chérie is working on her first book, a self-bio-photographic text of great expressive intensity, as well as the creation of a special fragrance – her parfum – with strong inebriating power, a striptease candle and a personalized line of tights, lingerie and dresses inspired to 40-50’s to make every woman feel a true “Femme fatale”.
